When is the best time to tune up a snow blower?
In the fall, before the first snowfall. Once the first big storm hits, everyone needs their machine at once, so getting it done early means it is ready when you need it.
Why will my snow blower not start after sitting all summer?
Gas left in the tank goes stale within a few months and leaves varnish in the carburetor. That blocks the tiny fuel passages. Cleaning the carburetor and fresh fuel fixes most cases.
